Tolerance

What is the meaning of tolerance? E.M. Forster has made a claim that I think is what humans must follow with heart. His view on tolerance and acceptance of people is identical to mine. He understands differences. He understands what it takes to make people like you, and you to like people. I totally agree that you don't have to "Love" total strangers to tolerate. You just have to "put up" with what "differences" people have and build a relationship off of that. I think Forster's use of "Love" is a broad word that can fit into many categories. He probably expected his audience to take their familiarity with "Love" and incorporate it into his explanation of tolerance. What you think love to be, take that feeling and relate to how he is telling you not to "Love" as it will put too much strain on you. "Tolerance" is extremely well written, and he has inspired me to write more about tolerance in my definition essay.

Alright, a question as a topic sentence can be a great strategy. Your second sentence is still a bit confusing. I'm glad you found an essay you could identify with, since I could tell you're fed up with the media. Excellent comments about love being a broad concept. Look forward to your bigger essay on this topic...there are so many directions you could take. For example...what about the current situation in India? How does that relate?
